About this camp

The UT Computer Science Academy for Machine Learning offers high school students an immersive, week-long residential experience in Python programming and machine learning fundamentals. Participants will engage in hands-on projects, learning to train their own machine learning models and exploring new technologies with guidance from UT faculty and industry experts. The curriculum also delves into the ethical and societal impacts of machine learning, providing a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence and intelligent systems. What a typical day looks like

A typical day begins with breakfast around 7:30 am, followed by activities from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, which include computer lab work on group projects, lunch breaks, guest lectures, and campus tours. After dinner, students participate in social activities like bowling or movie night, returning to their residence hall by 9:30 pm.
