About this camp

Brickedemy LEGO Robotics Summer Camp inspires creativity and critical thinking through hands-on LEGO® building and robotics experiences. Campers engage in activities that develop critical STEM skills, spatial awareness, and creative confidence. They explore physics concepts like balance, force, and motion while building and testing creations. The curriculum introduces simple machines, mechanisms, and the foundations of coding through interactive builds. Students develop problem-solving skills as they design, construct, test, and refine their models. Creative expression is encouraged through color theory, symmetry, and architectural design elements, and building with LEGO elements naturally incorporates spatial reasoning, patterns, geometry, and measurement. The camp offers both LEGO Robotics Explore Camp for grades 1-4, using LEGO Spike Essential, and LEGO Robotics Challenge Camp for grades 4-8, using LEGO Spike Prime robots for challenges and Sumo Bot tournaments.

What a typical day looks like

A typical full day includes check-in, a lecture and discussion, splitting into groups for LEGO building sessions, small group presentations, partnered building challenges, review, lunch, and counselor-led activities such as phys-ed, music, STEM, or art, followed by self-regulated student-led games, outside play, and quiet reflective time.

Best suited for

The camp is best for children aged 4-10 who love hands-on learning and are interested in building, coding, and solving engineering challenges.
