Students engage in four courses daily, which for UT PREP 1 include Logic, Mathematical Problem Solving, Electrical Engineering/Robotics, and College & Career Awareness. Beyond the classroom, participants explore UT Austin's labs and facilities, interact with career speakers, and engage in recreational activities like racquetball, swimming, and bowling. Students in higher levels of UT PREP (2-4) can also earn high school elective credit accredited by the Texas Education Agency.

What a typical day looks like

UT PREP students arrive on campus by 8:30 a.m. and take four courses each day, which vary by PREP level. Each week, students also participate in sports/games, interact with career speakers, and explore labs and other UT facilities.
