The UT Austin Computer Science Academy for iOS App Development is a one-week residential program designed for high school students entering 10th-12th grade with intermediate programming experience (e.g., Python, C++, or Java). Participants learn to build mobile applications for iPhone and iPad using Apple's Xcode and Swift programming languages. The curriculum covers essential topics such as user interface design, logic, delegates, segues, tables, optionals, closures, and advanced features like animation, motion, camera, gesture recognition, and augmented reality.
